I'm remiss in the extreme in my contributions to picspamyou_2009  and worst of all, my long absences from LJ mean I've missed talking to you lovely people. I've missed a fair few birthdays too for which I'm very sorry, most especially that darling delight of a human Earthling  the4ts . I hope your day was perfection, sugarbutton. I'm sorry I took my eye off the ball and missed you completely. Please have some very belated kisses in the flavour of your choosing. XXXXXXX

I've posted Blue. Here it is.

- Only to 852 at the moment (and yes, it's riddled with the inevitable glitches, why can't I ever get it right? Why?!) but soon to ASR3, I hope and also a new website (coming soon).

I started writing Blue 2 years ago when 20 people contributed $10 to watch this monster get written on a private LJ com, with another 5 getting their updates by email. betagoddess , fluterbev , luicat , snycock , slipperieslope , shiredancer , lear1027 , t_verano , patk , earth2skye ,tany_z , alibongo , suemc , monkeyfun1 , debmc , still_ra ,jazzybea47 , juneb , artemis54  and ponders_life on LJ. Also Mariojoe, Terry O'Donnell, Gloria Ainsworth, Cynthia and the lovely Gerri - who have all been so generous with their comment  and suggestions and have greatly added to the story and I thank them all.

Special thanks to the magnificent runriggers for one of the most rapid betas I've ever had, ever!

If you're planning to read it, be warned it's 126,000 words long and it's angsty. You would  expect it to be, I suppose, angst is my MO, but Blue is mega-angst of galactic proportions. I didn't intend it to be quite so very packed with pain, it was sort of an accident. Sorry.

It's slash but in its very mildest forms. There's nothing much there, really, that would mither even the terribly sensitive.

Been to Matalan. Pjs and t shirts have been achieved (and OMG! pink!) also sweat pants for the necessary work out and other sundry unexciting things. Got a nice big coffee mug for £2. I like Matalan, it takes the misery out of clothes and household shopping ::nods::

So. Currently feeding and watering myself prior to tackling the new, shiny chapter ten of the novel and a chapter of  Decimated, the fic I'm writing with the everso nicely naughty fluterbev . I must press on, I have been terribly remiss on the writing front of late.

So glad I decided to let the garden have its own way viz wild strawberries for ground cover. They really would cover everything if I let them, if I didn't keep them constantly in check. Not these babies though, we ate them for dinner and very good they were, too :o)

That is not this blog is Here.. It's my new place for talking about writing the novel because I don't want to bore you all with the tedium of my daily word counts and writer's block. There are a couple of new posts there but it's mostly just imports from LJ at the moment so don't all go rushing over there at once, now, will you. *G*

It's been there for awhile, really but I didn't think to mention it till just now. I need to work on it, make it purty.

OK. As you were. Ah, look what's on telly, it's only Wimbledon! The excitement, it kills.

Bloody, bloody Wimbledon. It infests our screens for two weeks a year like an itchy and embarrassing skin disease. It is made of the most epic dull - and now I find they've cancelled Supersizers because of it, the only thing worth watching today.

Do not cross me people, for I have killed before.

...From a delightful day chez alibongo where Mark, wearing his Maurice Moss IT trousers, did do mighty battle with computer and WiFi for many hours before getting it all to work and I chatted to ali of many things and admired her new chickens.

Have wine, have quorn sausage and mash, Top Gear in 15 minutes. Life be good.
