| Bio: | I believe in friending. Friending is the joy of LJ. I friend lots of people. If we share three or more interests, I will almost certainly friend you. If you've suddenly and unexpectedly found yourself friended by me, do not be afraid, I'm clean, sane and promise never to seek you out at your place of work unless you ask me to.
I'm a mostly unemployed writer with several projects on the go. Right now I have two books out in the world seeking representation and working on a third; Entanglement, about hauntings, possession and quantum physics. I've had 2 sitcoms commissioned by the BBC, currently working on a radio comedy set in a shed.
I was once a freelance journalist working out of Cuba (mostly) and some of the more unpleasant Central American Republics. Before I did that I was historical ecologist/ecologist/land manager. In short, I've spent a long time in nasty, sticky places covered in leeches studying the South and Central American cultures and civilizations and this is still very much a big interest of mine.
Beyond the real world, my main fascination/total obsession is fangirling JimnBlair and The Doctor and his long-time love, The Master. I love fanfiction and write Sentinel fic. If you read such stuff, you may know me as Panik.
